15 august- Important date in Indian history and also in Britain history

                                         15 August

Whenever the Indians listen to that today is 15 August then the picture of the tricolor waving over the Red Fort in his heart and mind comes out. On hearing the name of 15 August, the sense of patriotism awakens in an every Indian. This date holds significance because on this date India gets freedom from Britisher and prove to the world that British may also have the sunset. The result of the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai, Rani Lakshmibai and leader like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, was that on August 15, 1947, India got freedom from British Empire.
But think that why Britisher give freedom on 15 August only? why they do not give freedom on 26 January whereas Congress was celebrating 26 January as freedom day? many people want to know why Britisher give freedom on 15 August it was coincidently chosen a date or this has historical significance. Let's know why we get freedom on 15 August.

Relation Between 15 August and World War Second

The Second World War was fought between Axis Power( Germany, Japan, and Italy) and Allied Power( U.S.A, U.K, France, China and the Soviet Union). This war was started when Germany attacked Poland in 1939 than U.K and Germany started the war with  Germany.

On August 6, 1945, and August 9,1945, U.S.A attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki with the Nuclear bomb then  War Directive Council of Japan declared the Emergency in Japan. On August 10,1945 the foreign minister of Japan send the Treaty Proposal to America and on August 15, 1945, Japan's emperor in front of the whole world and in front of his public, declare that they were sundering to the Allied power. Japan's emperor said to his public that" enemies use the new kind and very destructive bomb. We cannot measure this power of destruction this power killed many innocent people if we continue the war then it will destroy the whole of Japan."
At that time the Commander of Allied Power was Lord Mountbatten and coincidently the Viceroy of India in 1947 was also Lord Mountbatten. Lord Mountbatten consider 15 August as very pious day because on this day Japan quit the world war.
So that's why 15 August is not only an important day for Indians but it very important date for Japanese and Britisher also.
